Updated December 15th, 2023 by Jacob Buchalter: With all the fantastic upgrades, fixes, and changes CD Projekt has made to the cars and driving systems in Cyberpunk 2077 Updates 2077 through the Phantom Liberty DLC, it seemed like a good time to look back on one of the more memorable car-related Side Gigs. Granted, those who restarted the game (or started it for the first time) after the Phantom Liberty DLC will find it almost painful to go back to this Side Gig, as all of the races in the Beast in Me line of Side Gigs are so janky compared to the revamped driving mechanics. Cars drive on rails, they're so incredibly slow, the driving AI is especially bad on turns, and the NCPD can't decide if they care about the race or not. Once at Edgewood Farm, head to the cabin on the right to find an open door, where upstairs and underneath the computer terminal, players can click a secret button to reveal a terminal that will shut down the turrets and mines, along with a secret Iconic melee weapon , Tinker Bell. With this done, head through to the barn's rooftop via the ladder and help River free the victims inside, including Randy. Afterwards, the police will arrive, and River will have a chat with V after saving his nephew, and here are the dialogue options to choose:

I Fought the Law is the first quest where players will meet River Ward, but the choices made here do not matter for River's romance; it's simply an introduction mission to River. It does not matter how players handle the enemies in the mission, or what V tells the Peralez family, or even what V tells River, as there are no consequences involved for River's future missions. Once the quest has been completed, players will have to wait a few in-game days for River Ward to call V, so just play a few quests and gigs in the meantime, or go AFK and skip time, as players are waiting for River's call to start The Hunt.

The perk also completely eliminates the movement speed penalty that applies when players aim throwing weapons. Though this perk won't apply to every Cool build, it's one that throwing weapon builds should make a beeline for from the start of Cyberpunk 2

The Ninjutsu perk is one of the best Cool perks in Cyberpunk 2077 because it turns a stealthy player into one that is as agile in the shadows as in the open. Players have a lot of freedom in how they choose to develop V's abilities. As V advances through Night City players will gain experience points to increase their overall level and street cred, which as street cred increases more jobs will open to V as their exploits have caught the attention of bigger names in the underground enterprises of Night City. V has five basic attributes: Body, Reflexes, Intelligence, Technical Abilities and Cool. Each of these have their own subsets of different subskills with branching skill trees. It's almost overwhelming how many different abilities the player can spend their perk points, such as in areas of Street Brawling, Crafting, Assault or Hacking to name a small sample of what's available, but a lot of perks mostly offer incremental bonuses to such things so there's low risk of building the character a "wrong" way, but strategic examination of the available options can be used to create an optimal character based on a chosen playstyle. Wanting to make the character a master hacker, invisible ninja or in-your-face brawler and many other types of characters can be created through effective planning. In addition to building up V this way, there are also Ripperdocs all over Night City that for a price will gladly add and switch out various cybernetic enhancements.
