Continue to the Glistening Cove section of the Underdark and search the cliffs for a chest containing the Slippery Chain Shirt . One of the best features of the Wizard class is its ability to learn abilities from scrolls, but this ability becomes more powerful when paired with another Prepared Spellcaster class, like the Cleric. This multiclass Wizard build is not one that focuses on the Wizard, as only one level is needed to learn from scrolls. Instead, it opts for 11 levels in Cleric, leaving just one in Wizard.
Insight is mostly useful for dialogues and telling NPC's true intentions, but doesn't come up terribly often. If you already have Insight covered by your background, opt for Arcane or History, whichever suits your character more.

This allows the Cleric to heal someone who has been reduced to zero Hit Points and prevent them from being downed by the next attack that would drop them to zero.
The max level in Baldur's Gate 3 is Level 12, and most of the time, each level you gain will grant something new for your Wizard build. In character creation, you gain the basics for the Wizard class, then steadily gain Feat Choices, new spells and abilities, subclass features, and increase your Proficiency Bonus.
Since the Eldritch Knight subclass is particularly tanky, this is a good time to pick up a new shield for the endgame. Take on Viconia DeVir as part of the "Daughter of Darkness" quest to pick up Viconia's Walking Fortress. This legendary shield grants advantage on saving throws against spells, imposes disadvantage on spell attack rolls against you, and provides access to two useful spells. Warding Bond once per long rest can be handy, but the true power of this shield lies in its exclusive spell: Reflective Shell. Once per short rest, this can be cast as a bonus action to send all incoming projectiles back to sender for the next two turns, rendering ranged attacks against the wielder both pointless and dangerous to the attacker. Nylruna, the trident mentioned in the Battle Master section, is also a fantastic weapon choice for an Eldritch Knight that helps them control the battlefield.
Players who want to channel the power of the stars above, wielding radiant magic and cosmic omens, should select the Circle of the Stars as their subclass. This subclass initially grants access to Starry Form, a new use of Wild Shape that allows the Druid to embody one of three constellations. Starry Form: Archer allows them to fire Radiant Arrows as a bonus action, Starry Form: Chalice allows them to heal themselves or a target within 9m/30ft for free after casting a spell, and Starry Form: Dragon turns any roll below 10 on a concentration check into a 10 and allows the Druid to use Dazzling Breath as a bonus action to deal radiant damage in a cone.
