Players who want to channel the power of the stars above, wielding radiant magic and cosmic omens, should select the Circle of the Stars as their subclass. This subclass initially grants access to Starry Form, a new use of Wild Shape that allows the Druid to embody one of three constellations. Starry Form: Archer allows them to fire Radiant Arrows as a bonus action, Starry Form: Chalice allows them to heal themselves or a target within 9m/30ft for free after casting a spell, and Starry Form: Dragon fights 2025 turns any roll below 10 on a concentration check into a 10 and allows the Druid to use Dazzling Breath as a bonus action to deal radiant damage in a cone.

In addition to everything you unlock while leveling as a Sorcerer, your Subclass also determines what you unlock at certain levels. As a Sorcerer, you can select a subclass at Level 1, in the character creation menu.

Rogues' unique class feature is the Sneak Attack, which deals massive damage with a higher chance to hit, but can only be initiated if players have Advantage over a target. There is a melee and a ranged option, both of which will break Stealth when used.

The Circle of Spores Druid has a tremendous amount of synergy with the Necromancy School available to Wizards, and taking six levels of Wizard will allow them to create a much greater range of undead minions to aid them in battle. This has the added benefit of granting them access to the entire Wizard spell list thanks to both classes being full casters, though a character will need to invest in intelligence to make full use of the Wizard spells. The Circle of Spores also synergizes well with the Monk, allowing players to brawl in melee and improve their AC using their Wisdom, which will already be pretty high since it's the Druid's spellcasting stat. Fighter and Ranger are both excellent multiclass choices too, offering Extra Attack at level 5 to dish out more Necrotic Damage while using Symbiotic Entity. Ranger synergizes slightly better due to also providing additional spell slots. (Rangers are half-casters so half of the Ranger Level, rounded down, is added to the effective caster level when multiclassing.)

During Act 3,you can access some powerful armor and weapons that benefit the Battle Master. The Helldusk Armour , acquired from the House of Hope by defeating Raphael, is a great heavy armor option that allows the wearer to fly and reduces incoming damage by 3. It also provides resistance to fire and burns enemies when you succeed a saving throw against their spells. The Helldusk Boots from the top floor of Wyrm's Rock Fortress complement the Armour, allowing the wearer to automatically succeed a saving throw by spending their reaction. They also allow the wearer to teleport, causing a blast of fire wherever they reappear, making them useful for dealing with foes at range. Add in the Helldusk Helmet (found in the House of Hope) to gain immunity to critical hits and a +2 bonus to saving throws against spells. The Immolating Gaze Action the helmet grants will allow you to frighten foes and deal fire damage if they're burning. Before you can get your hands on the Helldusk Armor, consider using the Reaper's Embrace Armor you can loot from Ketheric at the end of Act 2.

Also at level six, Storm Sorcerers gain a ton of bonus spells known. These consist of Call Lightning, Sleet Storm, Gust of Wind, Create or Destroy Water , and Thunderwave . These provide the Storm Sorcerer with multiple ways of manipulating the state of the battlefield and inflicting dam

If you're multiclassing with Barbarian, we recommend Leather Armour +2 for the early-game and then either the Bhaalist Armour or Elegant Studded Leather in the late-game. If you're looking for heavy armor, you should consider grabbing the Adamantine Splint Armour during Act 1, Dwarven Splintmail from Moonrise Towers during Act 2, or the Flawed Helldusk Armour from Damon in Act 2. Another decent option is the Rippling Force Mail. You can swap in the Reaper's Embrace or Armour of Persistence later, before picking up the Helldusk Armour as your final set.
