Add the Luminous Armor and Blood of Lathander to create Radiant Shockwaves, blasting anyone near the Druid with a shockwave that applies radiant orbs whenever the Druid deals radiant damage, and allowing the Druid to cast Sunbeam once per long rest. The Mace will also heal the Druid and allies within 9m/30ft if they take lightning damage synergy that would cause them to become downed, once per long rest, helping to keep them on their feet if the enemy starts targeting them. Until Act 3, you'll want to equip them with Wapira's Crown to give them self-healing whenever they use Chalice Heal. Grab the Shapeshifter Hat during Act 3 to get extra Wildshape Charges, and they'll be able to utilize their Starry Forms even more often between Long Rests.

Since the Battle Master specializes in Combat Maneuvers, they can benefit a lot from weapons with longer reach. Great options early on include the Monster Slaying Glaive (Act 1, Sold by Roah Moonglow at the Goblin Camp), the Sorrow Glaive (Act 1, Inside the Druid Grove's Vault), The Skinburster Halberd (Act 1, in the Inquisitor's Chamber at the Githyanki Creche), The Returning Pike (Act 1, Sold by the Goblin Trader at the Goblin Camp), and the Unseen Menace Pike (Act 1, Sold by the Trader in the Githyanki Creche.) During Act 2 players can grab the Drakethroat Glaive from Roah Moonglow in Moonrise, which allows them to buff weapons with elemental damage and offers tremendous versatility. Lann Tarv, also in Moonrise Towers, sells the Halberd of Vigilance. This Halberd grants its wielder advantage on any attack made as a reaction (ideal for attacks of opportunity) alongside a +1 bonus to initiative and advantage on perception checks. If you choose to free the Nightsong you can also pick up the Moonlight Glaive, which can conjure glowing butterflies around a target via a special attack. These glowing butterflies grant advantage on attacks against that target.

It's nigh-impossible to make a melee Wizard, but their spells can be attuned for many different functions in combat: Evocation Wizards focus on damage, Illusion Wizards focus on tricking and deceiving enemies, and Necromancy Wizards summon and control the dead, as one might expect.

Players could alternatively use the Flawed Helldusk Gloves, sold by Dammon in Act 2, for a larger boost to initial damage dealt. These can be replaced with the Helldusk Gloves during Act 3 for an even bigger boost.

In terms of Multiclassing, the Arcane Archer plays very well with some Rogue levels for Sneak Attack and Cunning Actions, with the Thief subclass providing an extra bonus action, which is very helpful, while the Assassin subclass offers incredible burst damage at the start of a fight if you get the drop on them. A few levels in Ranger, especially Hunter for the Hunter's Prey bonuses (Horde Breaker is particularly helpful), can also be quite effective.

If you're multiclassing with Barbarian, we recommend Leather Armour +2 for the early-game and then either the Bhaalist Armour or Elegant Studded Leather in the late-game. If you're looking for heavy armor, you should consider grabbing the Adamantine Splint Armour during Act 1, Dwarven Splintmail from Moonrise Towers during Act 2, or the Flawed Helldusk Armour from Damon in Act 2. Another decent option is the Rippling Force Mail. You can swap in the Reaper's Embrace or Armour of Persistence later, before picking up the Helldusk Armour as your final set.

Naturally, an archery build will need a good bow. Some of the best shortbow options early on are the Hunting Shortbow, Bow of the Banshee, and of course the incredible Darkfire Shortbow. The Joltshooter or Titanstring bow are perfect early longbow options, In the lategame, the best bows to choose would be the Dead Shot or the legendary bow Gontr Mael. If you prefer crossbows, you should pick up Giantbreaker or Harold from the Zhentarim in Act 1, or the Crossbow of Arcane Force from Creche Y'llek. In the late game, you can swap out for the Fabricated Arbalest or Hellfire Engine Crossbow.

The Lunar Mend ability allows the Druid to spend their spell slots to heal themselves while transformed, allowing them an alternative use for their spell slots and helping them to stay transformed longer. This heals 1d8HP per level of the spell slot used, meaning that players can burn higher-level spell slots to heal more if necessary.

The Circle of Stars Druid is ideally positioned to use the Luminous Set. This set of equipment revolves around applying the radiating orb condition to enemies, which lowers all of their attack rolls by the number of turns remaining on the condition, and also emits bright light. By wearing the Callous Glow Ring and Coruscation Ring, the Druid can easily apply radiating orbs and buff their radiant damage against targets who are illuminated. Pick up the Hellrider's Pride Gauntlets to apply Blade Ward to allies whenever you heal them, and replace them with the Gloves of Belligerant Skies once you can to stack Reverberation, and regularly knock enemies prone just by using your Luminous Arrow and Guiding Bolt.
