However, CD Projekt Red didn't give up on a game that they'd put so much time and effort into and decided to ensure that Cyberpunk 2077 would reach the heights that many fans were promised. The studio patched out most of the bugs and added a wealth of content to make the game as enjoyable as ever, and the launch of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners allowed many people to check out this masterpiece once again in a brand new light. Incandescent Staff (1d6/1d8 Bludgeoning, Quarterstaff, Very Rare): Despite its rather mediocre base damage as a Quarterstaff, its main benefits shine with its Fire Resistance, +1 Ranged Spell Attack, and free casts of Fire Bolt and Fireball. Just Fire Bolt as a Cantrip alone can give the Bard an extra offensive advantage, with Fireball just allowing them to wreak havoc in the battlefield.

In the Ranger's case, they can now select Swarmkeeper, commanding swarms of fey spirits in the shape of various creatures to aid them in battle. From legions of Bees, to Clouds of Jellyfish, to Flurries of Moths, the Swarmkeeper excels at using their swarm of choice to damage and weaken their foes. At level six, the Druid gets "Primal Strike," treating their natural attacks as magical for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction while they are transformed. They gain Saber-Toothed Tiger as a Wildshape at level eight, which has the ability to shred through armor. At level ten, the druid gets access to four "Elemental Myrmidon" wildshapes, allowing them to take on elemental forms to modify their damage type and take advantage of environmental conditions. Level 1 Hexblade Warlocks also receive the "Hexblade's Curse" ability , which curses a target to receive extra damage equal to the Warlock's proficiency bonus whenever the Warlock deals damage to them. It also reduces the number needed to roll a critical hit against that target by 1, and restores HP equal to the Warlock's Proficiency+Charisma Modifier when they kill the cursed target. A Hexblade Warlock gains Shield and Wrathful Smite as level 1 spell options.

Other Class Support: While the Ranger is a decent thematic addition to the Bard, players should still consider dipping into other Classes further to maximize the potential of such a build. For instance, a single dip in Warlock can access Hex for a more efficient and reliable replacement to Hunter’s Mark. Meanwhile, dipping into Rogue gives Sneak Attack for maximum damage potential.
Since the Beast Master Subclass gets its strongest features at level 11, it is typically ill-suited to multiclassing. That said, players could take a level in Fighter to gain an extra fighting style, or a level in Barbarian for access to Rage (though Raging will prevent the Ranger from casting or concentrating on spells.)
The Ranger subclasses in Baldur's Gate 3 allow the Ranger to gain additional abilities inspired by the Ranger's core concept as a Scout that hunts dangerous foes and has a deep understanding of the natural world. The Beast Master subclass allows them to acquire an Animal Companion to aid them in battle, the Hunter chooses a specialization to aid them in taking down their chosen foes, and the Gloom Stalker learns to steel their mind against mind-altering effects and strike at their foes from the shadows.
