The max level in Baldur's Gate 3 is Level 12, and most of the time, each level you gain will grant something new for your Fighter Drunken Master build guide. In the case of the Warlock, this is the Hexblade, whose pact with sentient magical weapons forged from shadow makes them masters of melee magic. This new subclass opens up all kinds of new playstyles for the Warlock, including some secret synergies with the Shadow Sorcerer, so this guide has been updated accordingly.

Goolocks also get the spell options "Dissonant Whispers" and "Tasha's Hideous Laughter" at level 1. The former allows them to inflict psychic damage and frighten a foe, while the latter can leave a foe helplessly laughing on the ground for up to ten rounds. They gain the spells "Detect Thoughts" and "Phantasmal Force" at level three, allowing them to read minds without relying on the Mindflayer Tadpole and inflict psychic damage whose damage type changes to match the last attack that hit the target and occurs every turn for ten turns. At level five, they can get "Bestow Curse" and "Slow," which offer them a huge range of debuff options for dealing with strong foes.

The Githyanki are a powerful race option for a number of classes thanks to its powerful racial spells granted at levels one, three, and five, as well as the Astral Knowledge ability. Astral Knowledge grants the Warlock proficiency in one ability's related skills, which pairs extremely well with the Warlock's innately high Charisma.

Oath of Devotion Paladins are the classical Knights in Shining Armor , defenders of the weak and the greater good. They can Channel their Oath using Divine Rebuke, placing a divine ward on an ally that deals radiant damage to anything that attacks them with a melee attack.

In Baldur's Gate 3 , Fighter builds can be enhanced further with the use of specific consumables. Clerics gain Channel Divinity charges at Level 2 and 6, which replenish on either a Short or Long Rest.

As a Level 11 Fighter, players can attack three times in a single turn, but by putting one point into barbarian, they can attack four times minimum every turn – as long as a bonus action isn't used for another ability.
