Duellist's Prerogative (1d8+8 Piercing +2 Piercing +1d4 Necrotic, Rapier, Very Rare): This Longsword is perhaps one of the best weapons for a Bard specifically for its damage output potential. Its Elegant Duellist effect now allows Crits at 19 on top of a bonus Reaction, which can be used in tandem with its Withering Cut to inflict (Proficiency Bonus) Necrotic Damage on a melee weapon attack. Using this with a College of Swords Dual Wielder Bard can catapult the character into main DPS territory.
Players looking to emphasize their Druid's shapeshifting ability will want to take the Circle of the Moon as their subclass. At level 2, when Druids select their subclass, the Circle of the Moon grants the druid the Combat Wildshape ability and access to a special ability called "Lunar Mend." Combat Wildshape allows the Druid to transform as a bonus action instead of a full action, allowing them easy access to their shapeshifting abilities during combat encounters. They can shapeshift twice per short rest, allowing them a total of six transformations between long rests.
Dexterity 14 (+2): As the Bard’s primary combat Ability, Dexterity should take a secondary or tertiary priority. Ranged Bard builds will use DEX for long-ranged weapons, while DEX could also substitute for STR for Versatile weapons, which also count towards the Bard’s specialization.
At level six, Enchantment Wizards gain "Instinctive Charm." This allows them to charm an attacker as a reaction, causing that attacker to attack another target using their reaction if possible. This can be amazing for keeping foes from targeting the Wizard. Level ten has Enchantment Wizards gain the ability "Split Enchantment." This allows their single-target Enchantment spells to target one additional creature, which can be immensely helpful for crowd control and manipulating foes.
Players using the Spellsparkler can enhance their spell damage by picking up The Blast Pendant from a Petrified Drow near the Selunite Outpost. This allows them to convert lightning charges into bonus damage for their next spell. The Necklace of Elemental Augmentation will allow the Wizard to add their intelligence to the damage dealt by any Cantrip that deals Acid, Cold, Fire, Lightning, or Thunder damage, making it an excellent addition to an Evocation Wizard's kit. It can be found in the Inquisitor's Chambers at the Githyanki Creche. The Daredevil Gloves sold by the Merchant in the Creche are also helpful, providing a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and converting ranged spell attacks into melee spell attacks when an enemy is standing next to the caster. This helps Wizards to dodge the disadvantage from casting spells while threatened.

At level three, the Druid learns "Blindness" and "Detect Thoughts" as additional spells which are always prepared. This allows them to temporarily blind their foes and read minds with ease. At level four, they learn an additional cantrip. Level 5 has them learn "Animate Dead" and "Gaseous Form," letting them create undead allies from nearby corpses and transform someone into a gaseous entity to move through tight spaces and/or better evade damage.
The Divination School is a tremendously powerful two-level dip for any build that has room for it, assuming the player is confident in their ability to use Portent Dice at the right moments. On the opposite side of things, a Divination Wizard with levels in Fighter for armor and Action Surge can also be tremendously effective.
The table above explains all the spells granted at level 3 by this decision. At level 5, players choose another Spell Circle and gain new spells from that Circle. These are different spells to those offered by selecting that Circle at level 3.
Other Weapon, Item Support: Unfortunately, the Ranger isn’t extremely optimized as a Class due to its multi-attribute dependency. Players should rely on Items such as Oils of Accuracy in order to boost their overall Attack Rolls and Damage Dice.
Barkskin Armour (12 AC + DEX, Medium Armour, Rare): Despite its middling initial AC boost as a Medium Armour, its Forest Aegis effect that bumps the gear into 16 AC makes this a worthwhile addition to a Bard's arsenal. Not to mention, its Advantage to CON Saves also make it safe to wear at any range.
