As of the 1.1 Thaw of Eons update for Wuthering Waves , we have gotten some new character banners announced. The first of these banners is for the character Jinshi. Jinshi is a spectro character who excels at being a primary dps and deals high Resonance Skill damage. She is a fantastic primary dps for your team if you’ve gotten her, and she gets some fantastic buffs from Spectro-based echoes.
As a 4-star Glacio Mutant Resonator, Baizhi's main role in-game is to provide healing to players - powers provided to her by her strange, white Remnant Creature companion, You'tan. This elegant and mysterious healer can be gained at no cost after unlocking the ability to Convene, as spending one Lustrous Tide on the Tidal Chorus banner will net players a Baizhi for free. Of course, the best weapons for most characters in Wuthering Waves Story Waves will be 5-star weapons. 5-star characters are going to have their own signature weapon to pair with them, but the standard 5-stars that are part of the normal banners for the game will also be extremely nice for them. Chixia’s best weapon choice will be the Static Mist 5-star pistols. Static Mist will increase energy regen by 12.8% and when her outro skill is used, the next character will get a 10% attack buff for 10 seconds . This is the most optimal weapon for Chixia and one of the easiest 5-star weapons to get your hands on.

The second option for the primary echo for Jinshi is quite possibly the better option of the two. This is the echo named Jué and when summoned it will traverse the air and will deal several variations of Spectro damage to nearby enemies. Upon summoning Jué, Jinshi will receive a 16% Resonance Skill damage boos t for 15 seconds . When the Resonance Skill hits an enemy, Jué will then inflict additional Spectro damage upon enemies.
The best primary echo option here will be Impermanence Heron which does have the Moonlit Clouds Sonata Effect as well. When activated, Impermanence Heron allows Yangyang to transform into the echo, allowing her to fly during battle and unleash Havoc Damage with its breath attack. By long-pressing the echo attack, Yangyang remains transformed, dealing additional Havoc Damage. When the primary attack connects, Yangyang gains 10 Resonance Energy , and the next character entering the field receives a damage boost for 15 seconds .
Windchimers are collectibles that look like a bell and can be obtained after landing any resonator attack on it. Windchimers can be exchanged for a multitude of rewards by talking to an NPC called Xian'ge in Hongzhen. Do note that the prerequisite for redeeming the rewards from collecting Windchimers is to complete Main Quest Chapter Seven: Thaw Of E
The next option will be for her support-focused role, and you’ll want to snag 5 echoes with the Rejuvenating Glow Sonata Effect. With the full 5 echoes, Yangyang will increase healing by 10% and when healing allies, the entire team will gain a 15% attack buff for 30 seconds . When using this particular setup, you will need the Originite: Type II weapon for these buffs to trigger and be usable while on the field.
Another solid option for a team member would be Jianxin. Jianxin will be able to provide shields for the team, but she doesn’t do as much damage as Yinlin is capable of doing. She can be built to be a hybrid character for the team as well, so she has a variety of builds and a ton of potential to support multiple characters in Wuthering Waves . Jianxin is a solid character despite not doing any job extremely well. The biggest benefit to using her is that you’ll get some awesome shield usage out of her to survive some of the harder encounters within the game.
If you are going with the Molten Rift Sonata Effect, you will need a solid primary echo to use for battle as well. That is where Inferno Rider will come into play. Inferno Rider will allow Chixia to turn into the echo and deal several Fusion damage-based attacks. After the echo deals the final blow in the transformation, Chixia’s basic attack damage will be increased by 12% for 15 seconds . Inferno Rider is the best choice for Chixia as it will maximize her Fusion damage output while also providing a nice little boost to her attack as well.
