Battle Masters might prefer a weapon with longer reach instead, such as the Dancing Breeze (Sold by Exxvikgap in the Rivington General.) This powerful glaive allows the wielder to perform a Whirlwind Attack, making an attack against all enemies within range. The Drakethroat Glaive also remains viable, as does the Moonlight Glaive and the Halberd of Vigilance. You could also consider Nyrulna, a legendary Trident that returns when thrown and causes thunder damage explosions when thrown too. It can also create cutting winds that blow back foes and create gusts of wind that also inflict thunder damage.
Great Old One Warlocks (sometimes called "Goolocks" by D&D players) make their pact with eldritch beings in the Far Realms whose goals are inscrutable and alien. At level one, a Goolock gains the power "Mortal Reminder," which causes them to frighten the target and all nearby enemies for a turn when they land a critical hit. This can be great for Mind Flayer Lore weakening enemy groups, though since it triggers only on critical hits, it can't be relied upon.
At level six, a Goolock gains the ability "Entropic Ward," allowing them to impose a disadvantage on an incoming attack as a reaction. Should that attack miss, they then gain an advantage on their next attack against the failed attacker. This can be used once per short rest.

In terms of Multiclassing, the Arcane Archer plays very well with some Rogue levels for Sneak Attack and Cunning Actions, with the Thief subclass providing an extra bonus action, which is very helpful, while the Assassin subclass offers incredible burst damage at the start of a fight if you get the drop on them. A few levels in Ranger, especially Hunter for the Hunter's Prey bonuses (Horde Breaker is particularly helpful), can also be quite effective.
Where multiclassing is concerned, Warlock pairs excellently with the other Charisma Caster classes: Paladin, Bard, and Sorcerer. A Paladin with Pact of the Blade can dump their strength stat entirely and focus on Charisma, gaining better spellcasting with no loss in their melee combat capabilities, while also using the Warlock's spell slots (which recharge on a short rest) to dish out Divine Smites more often. Access to Metamagic from the Sorcerer can allow some incredibly busted combos through the use of quickened spell and distant spell, including the ability to rapid-fire 6 eldritch blasts in a single turn at level 10. Bards with the College of Swords subclass can make excellent use of the Pact of the Blade to reduce the number of attributes they need to worry about, while also gaining access to a much wider range of damage and support spells from the Bard spell list and Magical Secrets.
There are three subclasses Druid players can try out in Baldur's Gate 3 : Circle of the Land, Circle of the Moon, and the Circle of Spores. While Circle of the Land focuses on spellcasting and Circle of Spores is a multi-faceted support and damage role, Circle of the Moon improves on the Druid's ability to use Wild Shape.
The Eldritch Knight subclass allows the fighter to learn a small selection of spells from the schools of Evocation and Abjuration , allowing them access to magic to buff themselves and damage their foes. They gain the ability to cast first-level spells once they reach Fighter Level three, with two spell slots to use when doing so.

Level 1 Hexblade Warlocks also receive the "Hexblade's Curse" ability , which curses a target to receive extra damage equal to the Warlock's proficiency bonus whenever the Warlock deals damage to them. It also reduces the number needed to roll a critical hit against that target by 1, and restores HP equal to the Warlock's Proficiency+Charisma Modifier when they kill the cursed target.
