Upon creating a Fighter character in Baldur's Gate 3 , players are asked which Fighting Style they would like to follow. There are six choices: Archery, Defence, Duelling, Great Weapon Fighting, Protection, and Two-Weapon Fighting.

Level 7 allows access to "Dominate Beast" and "Greater Invisibility," enabling them to turn animals to their side and render a target invisible for ten rounds whether they attack or not. Level 9 grants them access to "Dominate Person" and "Seeming," letting them manipulate humanoids and disguise all four party members simultaneously. Finally, at level 10, an Archfey Warlock gains "Beguiling Defenses", becoming immune to charm.
In Baldur's Gate 3 , most classes have something to choose from with almost every level up. Some melee-oriented classes, like the Monk or Rogue, don't have anything to pick at certain levels. But thanks to its heavy reliance on spells, and the Metamagic interactive Lore system unique to the class, this BG3 Sorcerer build has quite a lot to consider every time it levels.
The Sorcerer is one of the few Spellcasting-only classes, one that is nearly impossible to build into a melee fighter without multi-classing. Like the Wizard, Sorcerers can access a massive variety of useful spells that range from devastatingly damaging to enraging environmental effects.

There are a total of three BG3 subclasses Sorcerer players can try out, each of which focuses on different aspects of the class, and offers a selection of unique skills, proficiencies, and other features. As you level up in one of these BG3 Sorcerer subclasses, you will gain more abilities that are unique to your subclass choice.

In the case of Clerics, they've gained access to the Death Domain, which provides several benefits to spells dealing necrotic damage, access to many necromancy spells as domain spells, and a few methods of dishing out necrotic damage in melee range. At level eleven, Shadow Magic Sorcerers receive Shadow Walk, allowing them to spend their bonus action to teleport up to 18m/60ft as long as their destination is lightly or heavily obscured. The Sorcerer pairs best with the Noble or Sage Backgrounds because they will naturally trigger Inspiration moments more often. Nobles get proficiency in History and Persuasion, and tend to trigger inspiration when performing noble, heroic acts (or literally engaging with the nobility of Baldur's Gate and beyond).
Trickery Clerics are one of the weaker subclasses, but their abilities make them very useful when working alongside stealthy allies. This also means that they pair well with Rogue, Ranger, and Shadow Monk when multiclassing.
Fiend Warlocks made a pact with an entity known for corrupting and destroying and often served those ends through their actions, intentionally or otherwise. Fiend Warlocks immediately receive the power "Dark One's Blessing," which allows them to receive HP equal to their Charisma modifier plus their level whenever they reduce a foe to 0 HP. This helps keep the Fiend's health topped off and allows them greater survivability.
