Updated on September 23, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: Typically, when stumbling upon an Imp Statue in Elden Ring, Tarnished will use a Stonesword Key to remove the fog barrier and access the hidden area. Most of the time, the Imp Statue guards an important item such as a powerful weapon or a legendary Talisman. Other times, it gives access to a completely different area filled with precious loot and littered with enemies. As Stonesword Keys are limited, it’s important to know which places contain the best materials to not waste any keys.

There are two notable uses for Stonesword Keys in Volcano Manor. One is for unlocking the area leading to the Dagger Talisman and the other is for the Crimson Amber Medallion +1 . Both are considerable talismans in the game, and here's how to get to the Gargoyle locks to obtain these items.
