Level eight Light Domain Clerics get "Potent Spellcasting," adding their wisdom modifier to damage dealt with Cleric cantrips for a useful boost in their power and effectiveness. Finally, level nine offers the domain spells "Flame Strike" and "Destructive Wave," giving the Light Domain Cleric even more ways to smite single targets or entire groups. The latter deals thunder and radiant damage, providing some useful and much-needed damage variety for dealing with fire-resistant foes.

The Circle of the Moon Druid also gains access to more powerful Wildshape forms faster than other subclasses, gaining the Deep Rothe form at level 3 rather than level 4, for example. They also gain some Wildshape forms that the other subclasses do not have access to, like the Dire Raven (level 3).

Instead, the game focuses on the Fatebinder, a high-ranking member in a tyrant's legion who has to restore order and balance to the world after this evil emperor has conquered the world this game is based on. Should players use Dazzling Ray, they can release a light that Blinds all creatures in its path. Those affected by the Blind Status can only see and hit within 3 meters of them, and even then have Disadvantage to their Attack Rolls. Meanwhile, all Attacks against Blinded targets have Advantage. At fifth level, Giant Barbarians gain access to Boot of the Giants, allowing them to spend a bonus action to kick a target away. This is a contested Athletics check, just like the shove action, but you can use Boot of the Giants to push enemies that are up to twice the weight you'd be able to shove. You'll also deal your unarmed damage to the target when using Boot of the Giants, which can be enhanced by Tavern Brawler, Martial Arts from Monk, and items like the Gloves of Crushing.

The next few pieces of Luminous gear are found in Act 2. Collect the Luminous Gloves from a chest in the Ruined Battlefield (Coordinates: X: -52, Y: 11) to add more Radiant Orb stacks whenever the wearer does Radiant Damage, then track down the Coruscation Ring in the Basement of the Last Light Inn. This Ring will apply Radiating Orbs whenever the wearer hits an illuminated target with a spell. Since fire spells illuminate the area around them as they strike and Radiating Orbs will illuminate a target while they remain, this Ring can help the effect to snowball.

Generally speaking, though, the Circle of the Moon Barbarian subclass build does not lend itself well to multiclassing. Since most equipment doesn't function while in Wildshape, it's generally a good idea to wear equipment that benefits spellcasting instead. This means that the Druid can take advantage of being a full caster class whenever they aren't using Wildshape. There are also a couple of items that either benefit Wildshape directly or retain their functionality while in Wildshape.

Since the Spore Druid can perform quite a bit of necromancy already, it's well worth tracking down the book "Necromancy of Thay" during Act 1 to unlock its secrets. Finishing the book will take until Act 3, but results in a ton of extra undead minions in combat.
