Jinshi might take a little bit of work to get the hang of in Wuthering Waves . She isn’t overly quick, but she makes up for it in how hard she is capable of hitting. She’s got some incredible synergy with other 5-star characters and, when paired with other high-end weapons, she’s going to be doing a lot of damage to enemies. The only thing you’ll need to keep in mind after building her up is to go ahead and level up her stats in her character menu. These stat bonuses aren’t huge right out of the gate, but they do add up and become a delightful little bonus when using her.
If the Lingering Tunes Sonata Effect is more your speed, there is also the option for Mech Abomination as her primary echo. Mech Abomination will strike enemies and deal Electro Damage on hit. After using the echo, Chixia’s attack will increase by 12% for 15 seconds , making this a nice option for Lingering Tunes. Use Mech Abomination right after Chixia’s Intro Skill has been used and you’ll be set to get her entire rotation done with the attack buff. There are very few other primary echo choices for Lingering Tunes that will provide the same benefits as Mech Abomination. Both echoes are relatively easy to get your hands on and once you’ve gotten your Data Bank leveled up a ton, the chances for the legendary version significantly increase.
If you missed out on Yinlin, there are still some nice alternatives to consider. Mortefi also fits nicely in a team with Jinshi and her kit does have nice synergy with his. Mortefi will buff her heavy attacks and since her heavy attack isn’t a trigger for any bigger moves, you’ll end up using it a lot to extend combos and keep enemies airborne for as long as possible. The only downside with using Mortefi is that he has a longer Resonance Liberation cooldown than most characters, so when you do switch him in and out, sometimes he might not have his Resonance Liberation available for use. Regardless, he is still a solid character to pair Jinshi with.
The next optimal option for Chixia is the Novaburst 4-star weapon. This is another viable and useful option if the 5-star one isn’t going to be available. Novaburst will increase attack up to 4% for 8 seconds when you use Chixia’s dash . This can stack 3 times as well and is a nice little boost to damage if she’s going to be the main character on the field while fighting. It won’t have the same value as Static Mist, but will still get some mileage for you until you’ve gotten a better weapon for Chixia.
Verina or Baizhi will be your best options for healing. Since Wuthering Waves launched, they’ve been the two standout healers and are relatively close in how their kits operate. Verina is a 5-star that buffs the entire team, while Baizhi is a 4-star character only capable of buffing the next character swapped in. Neither will hit quite as hard as any dps, but it is still very nice if either one of them is on the team to heal up any damage that comes your way. Both healers have insanely quick rotations and will allow you to bring Jinshi back onto the field as fast as possible for more damage.
Elemental resistance is brutal in Wuthering Waves, reducing damage by 50 to 70 percent ! This means that using characters with the wrong elemental attacks can severely handicap your team's performance. Felian Beringal is a powerful Echo in Wuthering Waves, specializing in enhancing Aero damage when equipped as your primary Echo. Transforming into Felian Beringal allows you to inflict significant damage, making it an ideal choice for Aero DPS characters such as Jiyan, Yangyang, and Jia

Once you’ve gotten Chixia built up and ready to fight, go ahead and take a look at her skill tree and try to get some of those upgraded. While small at first, they will add up over time and provide some good bonuses to her build. Always keep in mind as well that almost every team is viable within Wuthering Waves and there are only a few characters that need to meet specific conditions to be worthwhile in a team. Chixia is a solid damage dealer for everyone and one of the first free characters that players receive. Whether you are using her due to not getting your favored 5-star character, wuwa or if you are waiting for the next character banner, she is a nice option and allows a fun over-the-top playstyle for everyone to utilize.
