This boss, named Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang, isn’t the toughest enemy you'll face in this region. Start by using the Immobilize Spell on him, and then attack by transforming into Guangzhi via the Red Tiles Spell. Deal as much damage as possible at the start to make the rest of the fight easier. Be cautious of his frequent leaps and tongue attacks.
Another melee attack the Yellow Wind Sage can use is a combo that starts by drawing his staff back, causing the bottom of it to glow. He will then swing it forward, before performing a forward stomp, and then finish with a wide swing. This attack is pretty easy to avoid by dodging around to his side and making sure you aren't in front of him.

After his health has dropped by roughly 1/3, the Yellow Wind Sage will start to whip up strong winds around himself while boasting about his Samadhi Wind, whirling his staff overhead. If you have the Wind Tamer , activate it now to stun him and dispel the wind, giving you a huge opening to pummel him with powerful attacks (this is also a great time to use Pluck of Many.) If you don't have the Wind Tamer , you'll have to back off until the whirlwind surrounding him fades. It has a very wide AOE, so back away as far as possible.
When you're up close, the Yellow Wind Sage uses several melee combos. His most commonly used combo is a single horizontal swing, followed by a back-and-forth double swing, and then an overhead slam that sends out spikes in a line ahead of him. Much like when he uses the overhead slam after firing a wind blade, you can dodge to the side and counterattack while he recovers from the final slam. Stay mobile and dodge the combo until he performs the slam, giving you the perfect opening to counterattack. He will also perform a two-step attack where he stabs his staff into the ground, then jumps and performs a stomping attack. Dodge as he stabs down and again as he stomps, then get in a few hits if you're feeling confident.
The other dangerous attack to watch out for here is the Sage summoning Fuban , a huge beetle monster, to perform a body slam. The camera will automatically shift to show you Fuban descending on the arena, so dodge to the side as it's getting close to you to perfect dodge out of the way. You can also back away and dodge to the side to get out of the impact zone, if you aren't confident in your timing.
Given the abundance of consumables and gathered resources, every Black Myth: Wukong player will have items they'd like to sell in exchange for Will (the in-game currency) to upgrade their gear or Cultivate Spirits. However, this option is currently absent. There are a few ways to make the fight against the Yellow Wind Sage easier, the most prominent of which is the Wind Tamer . This vessel improves your damage resistance and can be used to dismiss the Samadhi Wind that the Sage summons. To track down the Wind Tamer , you'll need to complete the Yellow-Robed Squire's quest and enter the Secret: Kingdom of Sahali. After defeating the boss there, you'll receive the Wind Tamer.
After being reduced to around 1/3 of his health, the Yellow Wind Sage will start using some more powerful magic. When he stabs his staff into the ground and begins waving his arms, he will conjure a tornado that slowly follows you around the arena, damaging you and throwing you into the air if you come into contact with it. Since it moves slowly you can avoid it by moving away from it as you continue to fight, remaining aware of its position so you can retreat if it gets too close. Naturally, using the Wind Tamer will dispel the tornado, so use it when it's off cooldown and take advantage of the brief stun to attack the boss.
