Chillet isn't even that strong in a vacuum, having decent at best stats in both offense and defense. Luckily, its Partner Skill is also great, applying Dragon damage to the player's attacks while mounted. Chillet is the definition of how a great skill and element combination can lift up a mediocre Pal, turning it into an absolute powerhouse.
Fire Element Pals have an Offensive advantage over Grass and Ice Type Pals dealing 2x damage to them, but their damage will be halved when fighting against Water Type Pals. Defensively, they are resistance to Grass and Ice types, but will receive 2x damage from Water Type Pals.
Grass Element Pals have an Offensive advantage over Ground Type Pals dealing 2x damage to them, but their damage will be halved when fighting against Fire Type Pals. Defensively, they are resistance to Ground types, but will receive 2x damage from Fire Type Pals.
Pal Fusions are a special type of Pal in Palworld that are exceptionally rare, powerful variants of regular Pals in the game. Players can find these Pals in the wild or dungeons and catch them in the same manner as other Pals. Fusion Pals are unique in that they can only be bred at a Breeding Farm by placing the base version of a Pal and a specific Pal (along with some cake). After some time, an egg will appear inside the Breeding Farm. Place the egg inside an Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch. Providing the egg with the appropriate heating or cooling will speed up the incubation time by 50% to 100%!
Neutral pals have no offensive advantages over any other pal types. They are the only pal type that has no offensive advantage. Defensively, they are weak against Dark type pals and will receive 2x damage from them. They are not resistant to any type of pal.
Jetragon can be ridden as a flying mount, and it's by far the fastest one you can get. Its Partner Skill Aerial Missile makes Jetragon Rapidly fire a missile launcher. The result is a very speedy mount that can rain destruction from high over your enemies. Jetragon is the best Dragon Pal you can get, due to how versatile, helpful, and destructive it is all at the same time.
Astegon doesn't just look ferocious, it actually is. This is a Dark/Dragon Pal and marks the point of stats becoming as high as you can hope for. Astegon is a tank of a Pal, with 125 Defense and Ranged Attack out of a possible 150. Stats are not the only thing elevating Astegon though.
The Partner Skill of Mossanda Lux allows the rider to shoot a grenade launcher with rapid fire. Although Mossanda itself is a Grass Pal, Mossanda Lux does not inherit the Grass nature, which is why it still remains vulnerable to Earth P
Although it isn't that good at generating electricity compared with other Electric Pals, the Rayhound is still a great option, especially as one of the best ground mounts for running around the map quickly in Palworld
While there is a very strong argument that both Jormuntide and Jormuntide Ignis might be the best Dragon Pals in the game, Jetragon has just a tad bit more going for it than them. This jet plane of a Pal has slightly lower offensive stats and a bit better defensive ones. What makes Jetragon incredible is its speed and Partner Skill.
Quivern is quite likely one of the best-designed Pals in the game, which is great, as the game's been riddled with controversy due to its creature designs. On top of being absolutely gorgeous though, Quivern is a menace in battle as well. To begin with, it's the first flying Pal on this list, Palworldfans.com meaning it can be ridden to battle through the skies.
Still, Azurobe is a great addition during the early and mid-game, especially if you haven't had a chance to capture a better Pal to fill its slot. Its Partner Skill applies Water Damage to the player's attacks while mounted, and Azurobe itself is decently bulky. Let's call Azurobe a great budget pick for a Dragon Pal.
Mossanda Lux is one of the ground-based mountable Pals that also comes with a good set of working abilities in the base. Of course, it's not recommended for high-level players, but it can be quite useful in the middle third of the game as a Rare
Jormuntide Ignis has all the benefits of regular Jormuntide, retaining its stats, Electric coverage, and Dragon Skills. However, it swaps out Jormuntides Partner Skill for an offensive one, boosting Fire attacks while mounted. Fire even beats Dragon's weakness in Ice, so you can only counter it with Water attacks. This thing just keeps getting better the longer you look at it.
It appears that a decent Pal kept back due to its element being on better Pals, gets a lot better when you change its element to something rarer. Dragon/Electric is a great offensive element combo, and while there are still better Pals of the same element, Relaxaurus Lux ends up being better than its regular counterpart in most cases.
Electric is a unique element in the game, covering Fire's weakness being Water. As Fire is the strongest element in the game, this means you can have an Electric Pal to cover your bases alongside your Fire Pals and you'll be good to go. Other than its element, Relaxaurus Lux is just like its more boring cousin, still launching missiles and looking derpy.
