There are many Pals in Palworld that have the Handiwork Work Suitability. Unlike the Cooling ability , handiwork is not tied to a specific type of pal - any type has the potential to have handiwork. Each pal with handiwork can have a level between 1 and 4 for their Handiwork ability. The higher the number, the faster they will be at completing the task. What sets Hangyu apart is that this unusually shaped Pal is that for some reason, it was used as a form of capital punishment in what seems like a time in the not so far past. These Pals would rip the very flesh from the condemned criminal, likely causing them to bleed out from their wounds.
Each element in Palworld is strong against one element and weak against another, barring Fire and Neutral. Thus, Dragon does not have an implicit power in itself as an element. However, the Pals that possess the Dragon element are so extremely strong that it elevates the element as a whole.
Grass Element Pals have an Offensive advantage over Ground Type Pals dealing 2x damage to them, but their damage will be halved when fighting against Fire Type Pals. Defensively, they are resistance to Ground types, but will receive 2x damage from Fire Type Pals.
Dragon Element Pals have an Offensive advantage over Dark Type Pals dealing 2x damage to them, but their damage will be halved when fighting against Ice Type Pals. Defensively, they are resistance to Dark types, but will receive 2x damage from Dragon Type Pals.
Once it has no more eggs to fire off, it will explode itself, likely killing itself as opposed to being taken by some predator. Does it know when it runs out of eggs it’ll explode itself? Is the Tocotoco aware that the last egg means certain death, and it chooses to go out on its own terms? We’ll never know.
Chillet isn't even that strong in a vacuum, having decent at best stats in both offense and defense. Luckily, its Partner Skill is also great, applying Dragon damage to the player's attacks while mounted. Chillet is the definition of how a great skill and element combination can lift up a mediocre Pal, turning it into an absolute powerhouse.
Neutral pals have no offensive advantages over any other pal types. They are the only pal type that has no offensive advantage. Defensively, they are weak against Dark type pals and will receive 2x damage from them. They are not resistant to any type of pal.
There are plenty of other unsettling Pals out in Palworld, but for some reason, the Tocotoco resonates as being quite disturbing without being overtly so. A Pal that creates and then fires eggs that explode is a little par for the course in his world, but once it runs out of those eggs, it has one final last resort.
What lies underneath the furry exterior of the Wumpo, which seems like a natural question to ask about many of the Pals that can be found in Palworld. The Paldeck entry for this creature seems to have tried to answer this question but left only more questions.
There seems to have been some type of regulatory mandate to help protect or deter poaching of the Pals, but the Free Pal Alliance has enough lobby power to put a stop to it, implying that the political world of Palworld can be just as corrupt as the real one.
Within the Palworld universe, there are some pretty darn unsettling Pals you can encounter. Some are incredibly volatile, others are unsettlingly creepy, while even more fall to some incredibly unfortunate ends in the surprisingly violent world of Palapagos Island.
Chillet is a unique case and proves that the element match-ups are crucial in mastering the game. This adorable serpent is Dragon/Ice, and that alone is enough to make it one of the best Pals in the game in certain situations. Thanks to its Ice element, Chillet can take down other Dragons with ease, and that's incredibly valuable.
But if someone who isn’t another Bushi were to come across the weapon and attempt to wield it as their own, the lingering will of the Bushi will harass them until they succumb to madness. This implies multiple things: that Bushi may not completely die when they pass, since there’s a consciousness left in the sword, and it also may hint at an afterlife for at least Bushi if not all Pals.
Another Pal that isn’t so overtly creepy, but gets worse and worse the more you think about it. The Nitewing will hunt or find a baby Pal and bring them back to its nest . The little Pal might be frightened, or lost and alone, captured by this giant bird, only to find it being cared for, possibly even loved.
If you were to encounter a Maraith in the real world, it might seem almost cute. It’s not the worst looking Pal out there, and its wispy wings and black furry mane looks almost cuddly. But if this Pal is hanging out with you, there’s probably something terribly wrong.
While the brazen bull might not have actually been used in the human world, the Menasting certainly is out and about torturing its victims in Palworld Sakurajima expansion. So well known is this Pal’s way of eating that the Paldeck even mentions how you can hear its victims screaming as they are consumed inside.
