There is a lot to discover in Red Dead Redemption 2 , and this is a game that is meant to be taken in slowly. The game's opening (purposefully) takes a bit of a slower pace than some might expect, and a vast amount of that is intentional to allow you to take in the various mechanics and abilities at your disposal when interacting and exploring this world.
Though dual wielding is such an iconic part of Westerns, it's never been a part of the Red Dead series. The ability to fire two guns simultaneously has to be one of the most electrifying feelings in video games. At the end of the trailer, during the shot of the seven riders, we get a glimpse at one of the rider's dual wielding pistols. This doesn't indicate that the player themselves will be able to do this, but the fact that it's a primary characteristic of a main focus of the trailer does give us hope. It's not crazy to think that in a game that may have an RPG skill tree, a player could unlock the ability to fire two pistols simultaneously. At the very least, we'll have the opportunity to fight with or against a character with the ability to shoot multiple people at the same t
Though Red Dead Redemption 2 is filled with the kind of action and spectacle that rivals many classic Western films, the biggest strength of Red Dead Redemption 2 lies in its astonishingly-detailed world. There is so much to do and find in the world that Rockstar Games has crafted that you'll easily be spending dozens of hours while roaming the West, but the important thing is that you shouldn't rush to complete it.
From the trailer, we know that John Marston, the protagonist from _ Red Dead Redemption _ , will be back in action in some capacity, alongside some other familiar faces from the original game. Red Dead Redemption is one of the best video games ever made. It's not up for debate. Rockstar took the wildly successful Grand Theft Auto open-world formula, threw it in the tumultuous Wild West, and made the story more engaging than "drive here, shoot them, drive back." Some may still dismiss it as GTA with horses, but they are dreadfully wr
The stables available in-game can allow you to have up to three other horses in addition to your "main horse" that you have with you out in your travels, so don't forget the important of strengthening your bond with your horse to maximize its potential.
No small detail is overlooked. It is the collection of countless minor details that makes _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ so captivating. It is unbelievably satisfying watching horses trudge through miles of deep snow en route to a mission, only to find the same player-made snow trail upon returning to the mission’s point of origin. Throw a corpse into the river, and the body will continue on until it gets stuck, or flows into a lake at the mouth of the river. And last, but not least: hats. Hats easily fly off in the heat of a shootout or during a bar fight, but any hat can be picked up and worn by Arthur. Collecting hats across the western frontier might be one of the most satisfying, unofficial mini-games within _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ . In fact, as of this writing, the topic of hats was actually trending for the game on Twitt
At the bottom right corner of this "leaked" map is the fictional Bennett new Skin Orleans-based city, New Bordeaux. New Bordeaux is the location of the studio’s other title– Mafia III –so fans are left to speculate if this is simply a fun Easter Egg, or rather an intricate tie

That’s what you get for getting in the middle of someone else’s family issues, John; nothing is solved and no one is ha
Naturally, headshots are going to be your best option when taking on enemies as they will practically take out anything in one hit. So when faced with a large group of enemies ahead, or if you just need a moment to clear out an overwhelming gunfight, take your time to eliminate large groups of enemies with well-placed headshots rather than going for multiple shots on one target. Unless you really don't like the guy and just want to riddle them with bullets: then that's okay.
All in all, giving gamers more ways to consume content is a good thing. The definitive way to play a Red Dead Redemption title will still likely be in third-person, but there is no reason why players should not be allowed to experiment with other mechanics as w
