Not every Tarnished will be capable enough to put on the entire Bull-Goat Set in Elden Ring , as it is by far the heaviest armor in the original game, granting the highest Poise value and unparalleled physical defense. It is also quite potent when facing fire-damaging enemies, although one might consider better options with lesser wei
Bloodstained Dagger : A great no-nonsense choice. Since it's a basic weapon, it can be upgraded to +25 with regular Smithing Stones , but unlike the basic Dagger, it passively applies Bleed. Not only that, but when combined with another Ash of War, the Bloodstained Dagger can apply multiple status effe
Fire and Souls games have always had a successful marriage. And despite Fire being but a mere mistress in Elden Ring Nightreign Merchant Ring , it's still a rather important mechanic in the game. Fire damage is no joke, and it can easily catch an overconfident Tarnished off-guard. Anything from the Magma Wyrm boss or even the dragons to those torch-wielding commoner enemies is bound to add fuel to the f
Meanwhile, the whole area is also a prime spot for subtle and minimalistic lore exposition. There are tons of Clayman enemies and ants in Ainsel River. As a reward, players also get a glimpse of the Lake of Rot (albeit inaccessible) as a precedent of the worse things to c
Icon Shield : Just scraping in alongside the most disappointing Greatshields out there, the Icon Shield only has 95% physical damage negation, but its passive ability does slowly regenerate the user's health (3 HP per sec, non-upgradable), potentially making it worth the trade-off in most situations. Elemental stats aren't great either, but with a weight of just 11.5 and reduced Strength requirements, it may appeal to players experimenting with unique builds. Additionally, the Icon Shield's unusual shape and stylish appearance add to its app
Unlock it and go inside to find the Rosus' Axe on a corpse and an enemy behind players waiting for an ambush. The Rosus’ Axe scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence, and it possesses the Rosus's Summons Skill.
Celebrant's Sickle : A decent option for farming runes since the Celebrant's Sickle grants an additional 10 runes on hit, but with the widespread availability of better rune farms in Elden Ring , there is very little reason to use the Celebrant's Sic
While the basic Dagger can be used as an excellent weapon for a challenge run through Elden Ring , the unique daggers found throughout the game can be exceptionally powerful. In general, like swords, katanas, and other blades, daggers often apply a Bleed status to enemies—an extremely strong status effect in Elden Ring . This means that despite their limitations, daggers tend to be a high-damage, high-mobility choice that rewards players' skills even more than other opti
It's then topped off with a boss fight that's equally ridiculous as it forces players to summon or resort to specific tactics that invalidate their character build. The saving grace here (no pun intended) is the reward from the boss and the castle's treasu
In a game as massive as Elden Ring, there are any number of ways to build one’s character and engage the many powerful boss enemies that inhabit The Lands Between. For most of the game, one really can’t go wrong with how they develop their character, but that may not be entirely true when it comes time to confront the final few bosses near the end. Unless one possesses truly top-tier skills, this is probably the time to re-spec into a more-focused build capable of using one’s loadout to the fullest. There are many of these to choose from of course, but one that focuses on bleed is probably the most effective for struggling players. So, let’s get into it.
Midra's Manse can be found at the far edge of the Abyssal Woods. To get her, players will first need to take the hidden ladder behind one of the flaming boats in the area just before the bridge leading to the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace. Follow the route down to the painting room with the illusory wall next to it. Take the ladder down to a coffin that will drop to lower Scadu Altus. Head southwest through the water all the way to the Darklight Catacombs . Clear this dungeon to access the Abyssal Woods. Head to the southwestern edge of the Abyssal Woods to reach Midra's Ma
Ant's Skull Plate : The Ant's Skull Plate is a striking and memorable Greatshield, fashioned from a beheaded creature. 100% physical damage negation, and some decent elemental reduction, the Ant's Skull Plate is a good piece of defensive gear, but it truly shines as a weapon. While also boosting the player's immunity by 50 points, this shield inflicts 90 points of poison build-up per hit, making it a rare and lethal poisonous weapon in Elden Ri
Again, this isn’t exactly a necessity for this build, but certain tears can help compliment the overall strategy. The first is the Spiked Cracked Tear , which further enhances consecutive attacks while the physic is active. The other is the Cerulean Hidden Tear ; this one eliminates all FP consumption while active, so players can use it at the beginning of the battle and summon Black Knife Tiche Ashes for free. One could also probably get a few hits too, before it wears off. These won’t necessarily be the go-to choices for every fight, but they do at least consistently offer more attack power and allow for a summon that may or may not be impossible otherwise, depending on how many points one has in the Mind stat.
