Once at Edgewood Farm, head to the cabin on the right to find an open door, where upstairs and underneath the computer terminal, players can click a secret button to reveal a terminal that will shut down the turrets and mines, along with a secret Iconic melee weapon , Tinker Bell. With this done, head through to the barn's rooftop via the ladder and help River free the victims inside, including Randy. Afterwards, the police will arrive, and River will have a chat with V after saving his nephew, and here are the dialogue options to choose:

While there's nothing romantic about River's questline, Project Hadar it's clear to see why V and River might bond the way that they do. After all, the case ahead of them is a sensitive subject, and V with River must discover the location of the kidnapped children of the notorious serial killer, Anthony Harris, AKA, Peter Pan. River informs V that he's been let go from the NCPD, and his nephew, Randy, is one of his victims. Players will want to help River in any way that they can, proceeding through the quest until they meet Yawn Packard. When Dr. Packard asks for V's input, be sure to select: Hasn't let me down yet , to stick up for River. After leaving the building with River, head back to his car and have a conversation with him. Towards the end of the conversation, players are given a dialogue option that they will want to select: Sign me up for that beer .

Updated December 20th, 2023 by Jacob Buchalter: Now that Phantom Liberty has been out for quite some time , a lot of people are starting to get back into Cyberpunk 2077 again (ourselves included). The game, at the time of writing this, just received a massive 2.1 update, and a lot of systems and game mechanics no longer work as players who experienced the game on release might expect. However, getting Jackie Welles Arch Motorcycle is still exactly the same process. This is because, until players are at least past the Konpeki Plaza 'tutorial' mission, they won't be able to access any of the Phantom Liberty cont

I Fought the Law is the first quest where players will meet River Ward, but the choices made here do not matter for River's romance; it's simply an introduction mission to River. It does not matter how players handle the enemies in the mission, or what V tells the Peralez family, or even what V tells River, as there are no consequences involved for River's future missions. Once the quest has been completed, players will have to wait a few in-game days for River Ward to call V, so just play a few quests and gigs in the meantime, or go AFK and skip time, as players are waiting for River's call to start The Hunt.

During side gigs assigned by fixers, be sure to pay attention to the optional objectives. Completing optional objectives usually results in bonus rewards in the form of more eddies. These tasks typically involve remaining undetected or hacking something for information, so catering one’s approach to these optional objectives can result in milking the fixers’ coffers for all they are wo

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 can be described as mix of Fallout , Deus Ex and Grand Theft Auto and that's meant in the most complimentary way. The quest system separates the main quests from sidequests so the player has the choice of trying to speedrun the main story or put that on the backburner to explore the other activities offered by Night City. As previously stated, people who just want to complete the main story can do so quickly, but like exploring any major city, rushing through isn't the recommended way to enjoy it. The player is free to explore Night City at whatever pace they want, taking on jobs, finding vigilante work or just enjoying the attractions Night City has to offer. Night City is a huge place to explore but thankfully the developers were generous with the location of fast travel points, but if one of those isn't convenient V can always take out one of the many purchasable vehicles or "borrow" one from a random driver. The story and side quests are progressed through standard dialogue trees along with phone calls and text messages, which is a feature that also helps bring Night City to life. One of the more interesting features is the detective modes when viewing a Brain Dance to help solve a crime. Watching video is a common practice in investigating a mystery, but thanks to V's cybernetic enhancements the videos can be inspected by isolating the visual, audio or thermal layers to undercover clues that wouldn't be available in standard viewing.

After a few in-game days of completing gigs and quests, River will text V about coming over. Players will need to select the flirtatious option : How about a new record? And then after a few more in-game hours, River will call about coming over. Players just need to accept River's invite and then meet him at Joss' place. Once V and River share a drink, select: Your parents - what happened?

Earlier it was mentioned that all versions of Cyberpunk 2077 are not created equally. During the review it was played on Stadia and a PC that exceeds the specs to run it on Ultra settings. As the previous paragraphs stated this was a positive experience but not without its issues. PC suffered from pop-in errors and visuals bugs for about forty percent of the time prior to the Day Zero Patch. After this patch was installed there were still visual bugs and glitches, but they became significantly more rare. There were other minor issues with textures, but things ran smoothly for the most part. Surprisingly the game didn't crash a single time but there were three separate missions where it didn't register it was completed to progress. Loading the most recent autosave solved the problem so it was more of a minor annoyance than anything game breaking, but ideally the number of times that should happen is zero. The Stadia version surprisingly experienced no bugs, but did suffer from the occasional streaming hiccup and the graphics didn't look as nice on PC, but overall the Stadia's performance was the most impressive and is highly recommended to someone who didn't have a good gaming PC as an alternative to the console version.
